1965 Cutlass -- BIG PARTS NEEDED --

I need to find a complete radiator core support and both front inner fenders for a 1965 Olds Cutlass. Once I tore my car down I found that my core support is all cobbled together with pieces of scrap sheet metal, and both inner fenders look like crap!

Location might help with finding some one near you I would check with 2blu442 or JATA depending on location

Your'e right oldstata! I'm in Lansing, Michigan, the Birthplace of Oldsmobile. I would be willing to drive 200-250 miles to get some nice replacements.

You might have to repair your radiator support they are usually rotted from the battery's leaking acids

The wheel wells are steel and usually clean up nicely with some tlc , but if you do find done check with greyhound for shipping it takes a bit of effort from both party's, but very reasonably priced

The radiator support has already been patched together with pieces of sheet metal. It looks like they had to add the entire bottom portion. Also the passenger side where it meets the inner fender is where the rest of the rust out is. Its not on the side where the battery was. Somewhere down the line some type of green filler was smeared over the rust through area and it was scuffed and painted black to hopefully disappear from view. I can probably attempt the same type of cover up job, just maybe a little better. I really didn't notice the radiator support issue until I took the whole thing out.
What really gets me down is that I gave these same parts (and many others) to a young man that bought my last 1965 Olds Cutlass. I offered, and he took everything I had laying around. Which included a radiator support and inner fenders from a 65 Cutlass body that I drug home from Desert Valley Auto! They were out in my storage shed and I thought I would never need them once I sold the car. He loaded more stuff into that car and the back of his pickup than I ever figured he could! His name was Josh and he lives in Iowa if he happens to be out there and sees this post.

I have a nice pair of inner fenders and maybe a useable core support. But - I'm out on the left coast. You could probably find something closer. If not - let me know.

It's nice to live in a part of the world where they don't salt the roads

I've got the parts too but as Napoleon said, if you can find decent parts at what you consider a reasonable price closer that could save $$ on shipping.

I have parts you need in Northeast Iowa but may be further than your willing to drive!

That board is probably the best place to put wanted ads for '65 specific parts. I will also second that Shane is a good honest guy.

you might inquire a Badgely's Garage
largely 1968 collectors, but they have other parts

I have a parts car, but she's a MI car and no doubt little or no better than what you have.

I am in Lansing area also
