i have two 64 4 barrel air cleaners for sale. for 200.00 pair
and one original 442 dual snorkel ( not for Sale ) that i can layout with dims and pics.

or i can have the pair fabricated and welded for 450.00

 

The snorkel is open on the carb side, it's not for looks. Yes, the degree of separation from center to center of the snorkels is 94, not 90.

 

DMW, what are the frame numbers on your 64 442? Numbers are located on the rear, driver side frame rail; before the exhaust hanger.

 

I have made the '64 442 dual snorkel air cleaners before. You can use the snorkels off '64 4 barrel or '64 - '65 2 barrel air cleaners. I currently have six of these and am making three dual snorkel air cleaners from these. Price is $900 ea. when finished. But I don't plan to make these until next winter. Here's a photo of the last one I made.

Purchased this from a farmer in new prauge MN> His father had a 64 442 that he sold. This was left over hangin in the barn. I hope to get to dougs house and compare to his air breather
