1963 F85 Clutch

I'm looking for a replacement clutch kit for my 3speed manual tranny. All the catalogs quote a 10 1/2 dia clutch plate, but my existing plate is only about
9 1/2. Anyone have any suggestions?

I was just down this road. You are going to need to send yours in and have it rebuilt. I have found ZERO available from anywhere. The only option is to rebuild what you have, find good used, or call D&D Aluminum V8 and get an expensive aftermarket light weight flywheel and clutch setup for that flywheel.

Maybe someone else knows something I don't... I hope so

I couldn't find any 9.5" clutches for 10 spline input shaft. You can go up or down a bit in diameter but idk how the contact will be on the flywheel and personnly wouldn't attempt it.

You will not find a kit. There are a few clutch discs on Ebay. The pressure plate should be able to be resurfaced local. A machine shop that works on flywheels should be able to do it. Back in the 1980's I needed a clutch disc for my Cutlass. Went to the local auto parts place. When he looked up the cutlass I noticed the same clutch disc was used on a plymouth valiant, ford falcon and a few other cars. Just measure the spline od and haw many teeth and get one that fits. I am not home till friday next week. I have some used units I can measure. I will let you know then.

They require a core and last I checked they had none in stock. You would have to send it to them just for them to have it rebuilt. Would be worth the call but if it is not in stock I would just send it to someone yourself to be rebuilt

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I think I've found the answer from hrclutches.com who can put together a kit from stock rebuilt parts.
