I have a 40 Coupe series 70 and need the drivers side vent window regulator. The gears are stripped on mine. I didn't see anybody who repairs them or parts available. Is there any out there? I also need a vent window handle and window handle. The rollers came off mine. Located in Greeley Co.

My 1941 Olds parts book says this part fits all 70 and 90 series Olds from 1939 & 40 .
Part number is 4090510 .
A regulator is also listed for 1940 70 series only . Part # 4099392 .

I have 39 70 series 4dr parts car with the vent windows, I won't be back in Mn where the car is until mid April if you cannot come up with one and are able to wait.

When I punch that number in it comes up as the window weather strip. I don't have a parts book. Could you see if it lists another number?

The number came from the 1941 Oldsmobile Master Parts book.
I tried googleing it and saw the Steele weathersrip. Steele evidently copied the wrong number .
The complete vent window from a "39 that garykrig has should fit however .

 

The 41 parts book says the complete ventilator assembly will interchange but group 10.661 lists two different regulators. Sorry to muddy up the water. The plating on your vent looks nicer than what would be on car my parts. We would have to compare parts to see what would work if you cannot find new regulator.
