14x6 SSII rims

Looking for (4) SSII rims for my 68' 442. Don't need the trim rings or center caps.

If you live in NY or close by please let me know.

Siplowguy, thanks but I'm only looking for the 14x6 (1968) SSII rims. These should have the bolt on center caps

'68 and '69 14 x 6 SSIIs are the same. Should be stamped "14 x 6 JK" with "810".
They have the same caps, and different trim rings. '69s have the 5 stainless bezels, and with '68s, the rim around the holes are painted (no bezels).

What's the difference in the trim rings? I knew about the stainless bezels and caps.

I'll have to check to be sure which year is which, but I think it was '68 that the rings are more burnished/satin than the '69 ones. Along with not remembering which year was which, I also don't recall the explanation for it either!

The rings for both years are relatively shallow, too. The hole for the valve stem is *not* enclosed, but open on the inboard side.
The few times that I've looked at '68s and '69s at car shows the last couple of years, I've noticed that very few of them have correct rings.

Keith hasn't updated his info there for quite a long time and a some of it just isn't correct. Which reminds me as soon as I get this info sorted out (again), I'll update the Olds Wiki (FAQS).
Like the SSII was *not* introduced in '68 as option N66, it was introduced as option P05 taking the place of the SSI in 1968. In *1969* (and there forward) it was option N66, as the SSI was brought back as option P05.

Dan, with all of that said, I do have 4 ssII's. Today was rainy, and they are in 3 different locations but I do have a set. If still interested, I will post pics tomorrow or Wednesday. I'll also try to get some #'s off of them. I know they need to be painted.

Okay, found my info on the trim rings. '68 trim rings were a more brushed/duller finish, and the '69s were bright/shiny. *Apparently* the '68s were considered to be too dull (being used to the SSI shine), and it was spiffed up for '69.
