1965 olds starfire parts car

No body seems to be interested in it as a whole car so I think we will part it out. As mentioned it is a high option car. I will get some pictures of the dash and door panels as well. They are all out of the car.

Tilt floor shift column
Power windows
power door locks
power bucket seat
power trunk release
no AC
console
had wire hub caps I think I have three in fair shape
Most of the trim moldings are good
fenders, doors, quarters, rockers all rust free
bumpers good usable
Jack is there
dash is there
door panels have nice metal but lower carpet sections are toast

I have been asked a few times about the front bumper. It is nice I would say "good used car" very straight, no rot, needs cleaned and polished. all three pieces are there, park lights are there and the lens are complete but do have cracks.

3.23 final drive ratio
ck for posi of course

xst exits in the rear quarter, right? In the molding? hard to find.

Any original vacuum left in those vacuum cans on the firewall?
:-)

Yea it is 3:23 and dang it not posi. If I understand correctly those are P series rearend gears. I am thinking of regearing one of the rearends I have to that. Wish it was a posi. I think 3:23 with a M20 would be a nice combo.

Yes original exhaust exits in quarters. moldings are good. Exhaust is shot.

Lots of vacuum lines for sure with the power door locks.

yes, Larry, but is any of THE ORIGINAL FACTORY VACUUM left in that storage can?

:-)

I was looking at the 66 Toro the other day, it too had vacuum unlockers.

I'm interested in the dash pad if it's in decent shape. Door panels as well. You mentioned photos coming soon.. Also, please post photos of the exhaust tips.

The exhaust tips are gone. The door panel metal is nice but the lower carpet sections are shot. I have them quoted currently. The dash pad is decent but does have a crack.

I have posted 10 pictures. If you would like others just ask for them specifically.

please provide a direct email or email me direct as I don't get these messages or post updates unless I log onto this site?

Thanks

Still have the door panels, and have sold the rear bumper, the trunk lid trim molding, and a few other small trinkets. Decided I am going to keep the engine. However, the 65 only 4 barrel intake is for sale as well as the exhaust manifolds. Front bumper is decent driver grade, doors and fenders are solid.

The exhaust tips are gone. I bet someone could fabricate a set out of cardboard then have a sheetmetal shop make them or get a set very close that way for a reasonable price.

I might be interested in trading parts for parts. I am looking for the following parts:

70 442 grills
70 442 sport mirrors
O type 3:08-3:23 posi carrier
P type 10 bolt 3:08-3:23 posi carrier
70 console type 4 speed shifter
70 455 intake
67 tach and gauges (tic-toc-tach)

Email direct for your needs

Yea it takes a few cars to make a car sometimes. So those that are a little too rough to save become parts cars.

Here is a few pictures of the tail panel that is now off. It is in very good driver grade condition. all the mounting studs are good and solid and it is not cracked or broken. Chrome is shinny and has minor pitting mostly where it goes under the bumper.

This is a very nice 65 Starfire only piece $250 plus the ride.

I know. I just tell myself it's being sacrificed so that others may live. Best of luck!

Much of this car has sold. But still have most of the body parts, the tilt floor shift column, front bucket seats (drivers is power), and the engine (which needs complete overhaul) The rolling frame has been sold and the quarters are now cut off as full quarters with inner fenders. I have most of the body side moldings too.

If you have needs email me direct at lemoldsnut@aol.com

I will have to check. I know I have one out of a 65 Cutlass and one out of a 66 cutlass.

The Starfire main tub is gone but the body parts are here. Not sure if I pulled the ebrake assembly or not.

Always best to email me direct. Comes to me immediately this takes a day or so.
