I'm not sure how many people on the board own newer oldsmobiles, but the 1970 442 I bought came with what looks to be a fairly new M4ME Carburetor. When I looked up the numbers on the carb it shows it fits the 1980's oldsmobiles from 305 to 350. The part number is 17081283 and I think the model is a 3-3677 from what I found. If anyone is interested shoot me an email - again this thing looks almost new, runs great, and has an electric choke.

 

I believe I had that same carburetor in my 81 pontiac parisienne with the chevy 305 engine.

Is the fuel inlet out the front straight, or does it come out on a 90 degree angle?

 

It comes off to the passenger side.. From what I read it will fit most GM 305 to 350 motors built in the 80's. It actually runs really well on my 1970 442 but I am going with the original
