Wonder Bar Radio ID
Wow, you guys never cease to amaze me! Funny I dont remember taking it out of a Toronado...but as my memory fades..anything is and was possible.
Off the top of your heads, would this fit in my 70 F85? I beleive thats why I pulled it in the first place.
Thanks again,
Tom

It's only easy if you know that the first digit indicates the year, the second the make, the third the model, the fourth the band, the fifth the "wonderbar-ness" and the last the "design." Who would know, for example, that there was more than one design?
Whats the going rate on a 71-72 cutlass/442 am/fm stereo radio in mint condition? I cant seem to find one anywhere to compare. I bought one years ago for 350 off ebay. I know they don't repro these.
I doubt there's a single "going rate." I think the mint-condition has more effect on value than what car it came out of. I think the $350 you paid is probably a good indicator of value. I would have guessed something in the several-hundred dollar range. It seems that used, cruddy-looking radios that may or may not work are everywhere at swap meets, but one that looks like it was made yesterday is a rare find.
