Great prices Copper. $500 for an engine is killer. I'm a sucker for TH400 so I like that too. They should sell quick

Trip all I'm looking is for a small profit I'm not trying to get rich .- aquired this engine in a cash and trade deal for a 455 I had. Highway star. It had never ran since it was freshened up. I was going to change the cam and keep it as a back up.

I'm going to probably put it on an engine stand and pull the pan off. And take pics.

If it weren't such a long drive, I'd have bought it from you already, Copper.

Good luck with the sale!

I don't know if anyone has taken advantage of Fastenol, [the nut + bolt supplier] on shipping, but they're about 1/2 the price of anyone else.
Bag it and strap it to a pallet, take it there, and it'll go.
Had a crank from Florida to Chicago for $75.
Call your local store, and get the number for shipping.

I got wheels and slicks up the wazoooo. Lol. If this guy intrested does not buy it I'm keeping it and making it a nitrous motor with a less agressive cam.

fastenal is a service and product provider for companies they sell steel, bolts, etc. etc. they also have many locations so they can do 3rd party shipping.

I did a google search for Fastenol and there is one 20 miles from me, but it didn't say anything about shipping.

Thanks for the info.

And if you are searching, it's FastenAl, not FastenOl.

"Had a crank from Florida to Chicago for $75."

That's not exactly a bargain compared to FedEx, for a crank.

For large heavy items like an engine, though, Fastenal warrants looking into.
