Looking for 70 442 block

Looking for a 70 442 engine. Don't need heads unless they are F heads.

if you want to pick up in Brazil indiana, around 3.5 hours. i have several 455 blocks and enough parts to put together short blocks. do you have to have one that has the 0 in the vin stamping for 70? i think all i have left are 69, and several 72 blocks. they are all the same other than the 0 stamped for the 70 year.

Why limit yourself to a 442 sourced engine when the B & C body blocks & the toro blocks interchange with the A body one?

A nice Delta sourced W-33 engine or a Toro W-34 are not to be overlooked.

Then you should not only "not rule out" but, actively seek, a Toronado 1970 block.

When was your car built? I have an assortment of 1970 455 blocks, with different julian dates.I am probably closer to 13hrs of driving though.I also have a 70 455 +0.040 shortblock that was just completed this spring,if that might interest you.

I have on from a 70 442 Pace Car. The owner of the car had the opportunity to buy it to make his cars numbers match but didn't do it.

Is a 442 block different? I have one from a '70 in my '69 but thought they were the same as any other 455. At any rate, you'll never get matching numbers unless you find the car's original engine.

NO.There were no special 442 or W30 blocks. The blocks were cast, machined, and their final destination was when they were assembled for a specific car.
