Just pulled this radiator support from a '72 Cutlass 4 door with a factory 455 with AC. The original radiator was still in it. It had a 4 core tank on the passenger side & a 3 core tank on the drivers side. I checked with a couple other people & this seems to be relatively normal for this year?? It has the larger 4 core saddles welded to it with the rubber bushings still there. It looks to be very straight & damage free. There is some rust pitting under the battery tray, but after poking around with my screwdriver, I only found one small rust hole, about the size of your pinky nail. This hole is close to the upward bend, near the radiator. The rest of it just has some light surface rust & will look nice when done. It comes with the center section & that looks to be very straight & rust free also. The hood latch mechanism is a little stiff, but will loosen up just fine.
The air dam is there but there is no metal reinforcement part on it like some 455 cars had? What you see in the pictures is what you get.
Like to get $225.00 for it. Local pick up in Indianapolis is preferred, but I could ship if I have to.
