I've got some olds engine parts I want/need to get rid of. My plans for this engine have fallen apart on me and I am in need of any and all moneys I can get for them. Listed below is a complete listing of everything I have up for sale.I'll either sell it or throw it in the dump but I will not give anything away. I'm asking $2200.00 +shipping for everything which I think is reasonable

SELLING ALL MY OLDSMOBILE ENGINE PARTS CONSISTING OF THE FOLLOWING;

455 BLOCK BORED .060" OVER DECKED, ALIGN-HONED ON THE MAINS. NEEDS TO BE CLEANED AND NEW CAM BEARINGS INSTALLED. HAS MONDELLO'S OIL PASSAGE RESTRICTORS INSTALLED TO IMPROVE OIL PRESSURE.
MAIN CAPS HAVE BEEN TRIMMED DOWN TO ACCEPT A WINDAGE TRAY WHICH I HAVE AS WELL.
MODELLO HIGH VOLUME OIL PUMP & 7 QUART OIL PAN.
CRANK IS TURNED .030" UNDER ON THE MAIN JOURNALS AND .020" UNDER ON THE ROD JOURNALS BUT NEEDS TO BE POLISHED UP AGAIN. ALSO HAVE LIFTER VALLEY HEAT SHIELD FOR USED WITH AN ALUMINUM INTAKE MANIFOLD TO HELP PREVENT HEAT FROM CRACKING THE MANIFOLD.
BADGER PISTONS WITH 9.5:1 COMPRESSION RATIO. NEED TO BE CLEANED AND NEW RINGS INSTALLED
CAMSHAFT NEEDS POLISHED
5 SETS OF CAST IRON HEADS ALL NEEDING TO BE REBUILT CONSISTING OF 2 SETS OF "J" CASTING HEADS, 2SETS OF "G" CASTING HEADS AND ONE SET OF "B" CASTING HEADS. PLUS ONE SET OF BRAND NEW NEVER INSTALLED EDELBROCK ALUMINUM HEADS.
EDELBROCK PERFORMER INTAKE MANIFOLD.
2 SETS OF CHROMED VALVE COVERS.

ALUMINUM WATER PUMP.
TIMING COVER.

OIL FILTER MOUNT (2) PLUS ADAPTOR & BRAIDED STEEL LINES FOR A REMOTE MOUNT DUAL OIL FILTER BLOCK WHICH USES 2 FRAM PH8A FILTERS.
PLUS A 425 OLDS CRANK THAT IS TURNED .010" UNDER ON BOTH THE MAIN & ROD JOURNALS, CROSS DRILLED & CHAMFERED WITH THE PROPER BALANCER AND FLEXPLATE.
2 TH400 TRANSMISSIONS. 1 IS A LONGSHAFT AND THE OTHER IS A SHORT SHAFT. BOTH ARE SET UP FOR A 2 WHEEL DRIVE APPLICATION ONLY AND WILL BOLT UP TO BUICK, OLDSMOBILE, PONTIAC & CADILAC ENGINES ONLY. THEY WILL NOT BOLT UP TO A CHEVROLET ENGINE.
MODELLO'S OLDMOBILE TECHNICAL MANUAL AND PARTS CATALOG.
PARTS I DO NOT HAVE ARE;
LIFTERS, PUSHRODS, ROCKERS, GASKETS, FUEL PUMP, TIMING CHAIN & GEARS

It would be too bad to have to dump all of that. Maybe if you would sell pieces individually...

Shipping the big heavy stuff from Alaska may be a killer unless it goes to someone in Canada. If you have the time to break it up and sell the parts you probably would move everything except the block, transmissions and some of the heads. Before the dumpster you could go to ebay. I know at times we all dislike ebay, but I've bought and sold lots of parts to Olds nuts all over the world through there. Back in the old days I'd go to swap meets and run into just a handful of Oldsmobile fans. Now the internet can get us in contact with hundreds of guys who have the same passion (or sickness!). So I would encourage you to not get discouraged, just consider other places or ways to list your parts. John

 

The edelbrock heads I won't let go for less than I paid for them-$1200.00
The rest of the parts at half the price of new or at least core value for them (heads, trannys, cranks)

 

If I was any closer I would ****** them up in a heartbeat
