i know what you mean, i am selling off many of the things i had set aside for myself now that we found the Jetfire. 10 years from now i will be saying how dumb it was to sell them.

At least your putting it into another project. A couple decades ago I decided to simplfy my life by selling most of my spare parts at the big swap meet in Portland Oregon. Since then I've needed several of those items for new-to-me project cars AND... your new toy will make the wife happy, so its all good
