'66 - '69? Olds Vacuum Trunk Release Parts

EDIT/ADD: SOLD

Pulled from a mid/late '60's Delta 88 or maybe a '98. Vacuum trunk release parts.....large vacuum-actuated piece that mounts on the decklid holds vacuum and the rod actuates as well when vacuum/suction is applied.

Glovebox mounted switch if very nice....real good chromed areas.

$20+shipping to the lower 48. PM for payment options and send complete address for quote.

That’s a very fair price for that fun option. I’d bite but have a few under the house.

As a courtesy, you might check the rate at which the switch leaks down from say 20” HG to atmosphere.

If the switch leaks down quick (like <2 minutes), the system will work with the engine on and only for a moment or 2 after engine shut down. If it takes longer, you can shut off the car and pop the trunk when you forgot something inside. Don’t disassemble the switch, the plastic that holds it together will snap on disassembly.

Usually the diaphragms in the trunk unit don’t go bad.

Not to but in, but I’ve been playing with these things lately. Good luck on the sale.
