Typically found on 4-speeds, etc., which has 3/8 -24 fine thread. Note- Dual gates are 3/8"-16 coarse thread, so it won't work there without modification.
Comes complete with instructions, T-handle, and adjustment nut inside original baggie. Original baggie has a slight tear on upper left section of ziplock style closure and is a tiny bit dirty from storage, but the inside stayed clean. See pic. T-handle and nut are 99.99% perfect and have never been mounted.
I bought this eons ago from a guy in Bedrock. Name was F. Flinstone, IIRC. Right before the dinosaurs died. Been in storage ever since. I used to have one on my 69 442 with a gold interior many, many years ago. I got this one just in case I ever ran across another car like it and ended up with it. It sure made a difference on a cold day without gloves.

Yeah, they had the fuzzy ones in the 70s, and could have been the late 60s too, I'm not sure when the fuzzies started. The T-handles in general were released on the world in December of 1966 in 3 different angles of 25 deg., 45 deg., and 65 deg. to match your shifter angle, but finally they decided to just make the 45 deg. angle since that idea never seemed to catch on.
You could even buy the fuzzy ones, white/black plastic ones, and plain metal ones in the blister packs in Western Auto stores back then. I think the fuzzy colors were gold, black, and red versions, but I'm not 100% sure if that was the only colors available. IMO, they were a unique little touch. They were the same price as the plain metal versions, so why not?
These aren't mine in the pics below, but some people collect this stuff on purpose.
