SOLD 1984 Hurst/Olds with 22k and Hurst Lightning Rods shifter $5000
I am listing this for a friend. It’s a 2 owner car that is located in Elkins, WV. He is asking $5000for it. The paint is good to great and the interior is excellent. All original parts except for a few that were replaced with original GM parts, an aftermarket speedometer cable since an OEM was not available and exhaust tips. It has a complete service history from both owners and all manuals and sales literature that would have came with the care new. It was parked in 2007 due to a transmission noise in second gear. Everything worked at the time except the power antenna which is still intact. Unforeseen family health issues that occurred around the same time have prevented the noise from being diagnosed. The motor turns over freely. It has been stored by both owners in a climate controlled garage. No rust, not even the rotors. The paint is Not original. The original owner had the stripes removed and painted the lower half of the car a goldish brown. The only reason I could see to do that was to emulate a 79 Hurst or something. The current owner had it painted back to the original colors.

I'm shocked at that price, even if it needs a transmission. The owner is really wanting to sell, and not fund his whole family's college and retirements on the proceeds. Usually people think it's worth it's weight in gold.

You're right. Usually you see these listed for $15k plus. Those idiots bumped their heads.
