This was for sale on here a little over a month ago by Club442 for $3000. Why now $4000?

Transportation from the previous owner to current owner (xcountry could be a few hundred). Its possible a rigid metal cradle would have been made or bought (50 -100).

Its not unrealist for the current owner to be into it for $500 more than what he paid for it and there is a good chance trying to resell it for the same price would actually be a loss.
