Excellent. I saw the title and was ready to provide a load of crap. Well done!

Since this isn't a serious ad, on topic, I've got a coded for 350 carb sitting on my H/O, and it really runs well, so I'm loathe to change it, but I got a nice rebuildable core on here from a vendor for the 455 numbered, so I'll have it redone and swap it someday. It runs so nicely, my only beef is there's a bind in the linkage or carbon in the bores or something, because it really sticks until you break it lose the first time. I need to look down the primaries with a mirror.

If I may ask ? Did the ‘68 and ‘69 Hurst Olds’ come with their own unique carbs or were they borrowed from elsewhere ? What numbers were stamped on them ?

Funny when those people advertise like that. I do have a 7041253, but not sure I'm ready to part with it. Then again everything has a price....lol
