You don't want that to replace the 68 carb on your car?

I was thinking about getting it rebuilt and then throwing it on my car do you think it’s that much better than the 68 carburetor?
It’s actually a 69 carburetor 7049251

Keep it and send it out to get refurbished. Or look for someone that will do a trade for 1971 442 carb to go on your car.

Yeah I have a local rebuilder here probably could do it for under $200 and I already have a kit for it.
Or I could just sell it and then buy a carburetor

I doubt you'd see any performance or operating differences between the two. I was just thinking if you were to swap the 1968 intake and divorced choke carb for an intake and integral choke style carb appropriate for a 71 that the carb would be close enough.
