Found this in the trunk of the car I just bought can someone identify date?

Manufacture date looks like 3379: That means the 337th day of 1969 which would put it about November 27, 1969. I can't really tell if it's a 7 or a 2 in that date code as the picture is blurry.

One guy told me the top looks like a 72 style but it looks like every of the 70 I look at what is he talking about?
And then he offered to buy it for $175?
