It is a numbers thing, not a new or used thing. These can be rebuilt for that high end car. You are not going to find these new. I have a set of fronts that I was going to put on eBay last week for the same price but not had time. I will wait now that he has some listed.
they do reproduce at least the backs but from what I can tell (and heard) they are made longer than the originals. These are definitely a cool part for the right car.

That's because the MCACN judging is more like the high level Corvette judging. There is nowhere near enough time to judge at that level at the OCA Nats. But...yeah...I have to agree, there IS a certain satisfaction in knowing that everything is as it was originally. And...most often original stuff used or NOS, functions and fits better than repro stuff.
