For sale the original boot for my 1962 convertible. The is not usable as is, it is an original example to use as instructions for your trim shop to build you a new one. The overall dimensions have shrunk. It is hard and brittle in several areas. I believe it is a mixture of vinyls and leather. Here's the process I used to have a new boot made. I purchased an aftermarket boot for a 1961-1964 Impala convertible. This was used to make the pattern for the overall dimensions and parts,such as the rubber strip that fits into the channel on the back of the rear seat. Correct vinyl grain was ordered and central section was sent off to have the heat seam embossed. Pads made, snaps had to put in the correct places etc. Quite a bit of work.
