Hello.

Finally converted to a TH350 in our 64 Olds Starfire (394ci). We have 2 slim jims we no longer need. One was in the car and working BUT leaky, the other was purchased as a spare a few years ago out of a working/driving Starfile (this gentleman also was converting to a newer style transmission).

So:
-- 2 Roto Hydramatic 375s (Model 10)
--One TV linkage assembly is also available since we no longer need it either.
--We only have one complete filler tube/dipstick assembly.
--OEM fittings for trans cooler are still in each one

$125.00 each or best offer, local pickup preferred in Delaware Ohio (43015) but could be shipped though probably fairly expensive.

Hi, thanks for posting. I have a 64 88 and am considering converting it to a TH350 or TH400. I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about your conversion?
* Did the TH350 fit under your car or did you have to modify the floor pan?
* Did you have any problems adapting the shifter linkage to the new trans?
* What adapter set up did you use to mount the trans to your engine (394)?

Ross Racing has the conversion. You have to modify the trans itself.
It is not a cheap conversion, but is such an improvment, worth it, yes!

I used the kit from Bendstens. There are no mods necessary to whatever trans you put behind it. You can use your same starter also. You cannot however use the same motor mounts. We fabricated some new ones from 3x3 1/4" angle which allowed us to use the stock crossmember. Look on bendstens site at www.Transmissionadapters.com for very nice detailed pics. I will say all the parts from them fit like a glove and was installed in literally one hour including cutting the floor.

Yes we had to cut the floor.

We used an aftermarket shifter but it fits in the same console slot as the stock one.

You will need a different driveshaft.
