Wiper motor part # decals

I am in the process of reproducing the 1966 & 1970 correct part # decals for the 1966 & 1970 Cutlass & 442 wiper motors. These decals were found on the round motor cars, the rectangle motors had ink stamps instead of decals. The decals will be the correct style/finish that came on the motors from the factory. They will have the correct part # and will be date coded as close to your car as possible. The date codes are done by quarters because exact date codes are not possible. They will be priced @ $12.00 each delivered to you. The Chevy units on eBay are $25. I'm gauging interest and taking orders. This will be a first for Oldsmobile cars and really add that final touch to your restoration. This is a limited run and unless the demand is high, probably the only run of them. I should have them in less than 30 days,so get you order in now. Thanks

I am getting some interest in the 68/69 decals. If this keeps up,I will do them but I want to get the 66 & 70 decals done first. Please be patient with this because I want to get them right.

Thanks

Here's the 66 Olds decal, the 70 are coming very soon.

If they will be better/different than the ones offered by Ames, I'd be interested in two each for a 68, 70, & 72 if you wind up doing the project.

Also interested in decals for '70. What distinguishes the Olds decal from that on a Chevy?

I have no idea the quality of the Ames decals. The ones I'm selling are going to be as close to the originals as possible made out of the same material as OEM. The process will be of a hot print type and will last. As of now,the 70 decal is the only one other than 66. I can't find the correct info for the 71/72 A Body cars,I looked through the PIM's and couldn't find it.. I could do the 68/69 decals if there's enough demand and I can get the correct info. Before anybody says anything about pricing,I know Ames and the Corvette vendors sell them for $2-3. I talked to one major Corvette vendor and they have them made in lots of 10K @ a time. If I could sell that many, maybe I could sell mine for that but with such a limited run,the price is higher. It's just economics, that's all.

I have no idea what #'s the Chevy's use,so as far as I'm concerned,I'm doing the Olds #'s that I know is correct. Like I said, the Chevy decals I've seen on eBay are $25,so with pricing @ $12,I think that's very fair.

No sir,the 67 A Body cars use a rectangle style motor that used an ink stamp, not a decal. I would suggest that you sell the 67 and buy a 66 so you can get a decal for it. Does that answer your question?

As far as I know all round motor style motors used a decal. The Corvettes used them through the late 70's,so I would think that Delco used them on all round motor models.

OK Tony, that's great. if there's enough demand for the 68/69 cars,I'll see what can be done.

I'm in. Let me know when you are ready for dates. 12.00 for a correct tag is very reasonable.

These decals will date coded by quarters,it's cost prohibitive if each decal is date coded for a particular car. I wish there was that option but it isn't.

I inquired about the possible difference between Olds and Chevy as I would think they would be the same, as they both would be getting the same motor from Delco. That being the case I would be interested in two, one for my Cutlass and the other for my Chevelle. I'll check the date on my Chevelle motor, the tag is absent on my Cutlass.
Thanks.
