EDIT/ADD: SOLD, Pending Payment....on another site.
NOTE: I can deliver this at the upcoming OCA Nationals in Dayton, OH.....save plenty of $ by avoiding shipping charges.
I pulled this Delco Moraine power brake booster from a '67 Cutlass Wagon. It was a drum brake car (I still have the "CT" stamped master cylinder from it - for sale on this site).
>This is a primo core for restoration/rebuilding as you can tell from the picks. This one will not need any of the "extra work" that some booster rebuilders will charge extra for----primarily to remove pitting in the surfaces---this one won't have any of that.
>The pic that shows the area where the master cylinder mounts.....there was surface rust there but I sanded the area and IT ISN'T PITTED.
>This can easily be rebuilt for a disc brake car.......same booster body is used for drum AND disc.
>No "Delco Moraine" stamp on this one......not an uncommon feature and for all I know they didn't start stamping them until later on.
>Again - if you're looking for a very clean core for restoration and rebuilding this is it. It's the REAL GM product so the stamping/tooling detail is correct (unlike the reproduction boosters) and it will replate beautifully.
>NOTE: The hole for the vacuum hose on the front face of the booster is the larger style (pre-68? pre-69?) so the check valve used this year (and others) is a different style and size. It could be "converted" to the later style, smaller check valve but that would take some creative welding work to make the grommet hole smaller.
>Some pics were taken in the sunlight and others in the shade....no other reason for the repetition on the pics.
Couple of pics showing the larger "early" booster check valve - this one is included (along with the grommet) in the sale. These are now reproduced as well.
