i have an original harrison heater core for repair if someone is looking,tanks/nipples are good,im assuming it leaked as my windshield was fogging and had antifreeze on the pass floor. its for an AC car. thought to ask here before i toss it . 9 1/2''x 6 1/4''x 2'',some after market ones dont fit good 25.00 plus ship

 

I guess that was leaking. I didn't know until today that the heater cores can be re-cored. I was quoted 150. Seems kind of pricey for something unseen but I realize some new ones are aluminum and not that dependable.
What did you use to replace this?

 

i think they can, i found an old after market that is copper/brass style with that brace you see between the tubes, when they made good ones
