Type O Posi axle $375 Omaha

Saw this online, looks like at least a salvagable carrier but gears maybe ok too.

$375 not mine

12 BOLT CHEVELLE CUTLASS REAREND - $375

12 bolt rearend removed from a 1970 chevelle. I believe this is a cutlass rearend. It is a posi but the inside is rusty. It does spin. 641-777-8788

One of the spider gears and the cross shaft are missing. That is a bit of money for what I would call a core housing and possibly an unpopular carrier.

Looked like it was submerged in oil may still be intact. If not yeah forget it. If it was near me I would offer $300 if it was all there. Lots of spare parts and differential my wagon could use.

I suspect that the "missing" spider gear is actually submerged under the oil. Note that the opposing gear is higher than the side gears.

At least, I HOPE that's all oil and not water with a thin film of oil...
