Are you sure they are 7" wide? I don't recall seeing any push on's that are more than 6" wide.

GM made 14" x 7" SSIII's from 78-80.... I happen to have two sets of these 14x7's......

Interesting, I will check my parts system when I get a chance to try and pin point exactly what years they were produced, IIRC the ones I have came off a 78 & 79 that I parted out and just thought since 80 was the same body style it would have applied as well, but I will see what I can research in my system or I will resort to my parts books if need be......

I'm not sure what years they are, but I have some 14X7 SSIII's snap on center caps too. I've certainly come across a lot more 14X6 but yes Olds did make 14X7's with snap on center caps as well.

I'm fairly certain that the only 14x7" wheels were the aluminum ones on the 79 H/O and the 80 442. I don't think they did a 14x7 after 1974.

The standard tire on a 1978 and up was a 195/75/14 with an option for a 205/70/14. The 195/75 are not specced for a 7" wide rim so the chances are slim that they would offer both a 6" and a 7" when the 6" would work just fine for both.

But then again, I could be spouting from an orifice that nobody wants to here from, so take it with a grain of salt.

I never had the tires off these rims, i'm pretty sure with all my years experience this wheels are 14x7 they certainly do not look like 6 inch wheels at all. 6 inch wheels are small these have 235/60/14 and they fit flush not bubbled out

Look for a stamping on the back side on the barrel of the wheel for a size marking.

.
Well from the information I have found in my parts system and parts books, GM did have 14 x 7 SSIII's (N67).... It was available from 76-79 PN: 413087, and most likely is stamped "MN"... It was actually an option for the X-Body Omega, don't know why it wasn't listed as a Cutlass option in the parts information... Based on the availability from 76 - 79, it's quite possible dealers did provide it as an option for 78 & 79 Cutlass models as well.....

I have never seen them on an A body and I installed a lot of tires in my youth working at Super Shops.

I have a couple of these too. They came on Omega's. Why on earth Oldmobile would bother putting a wider wheel on an Omega of all things, is beyond me. I actually picked my two off an Omega at the junk yard many moon's ago. I wouldn't mind selling both of mine either.
