Steering Columns

I have several steering columns from 1969-72 Cultass/442. I don't have any floor shift tilt columns available, but I do have floor shift non-tilt, column shift non-tilt and column shift tilt. Price would be $75 each plus shipping and they would be shipped with the lower section that attaches to the steering box but not the steering wheel. I have some boxes that fit perfect once the wheel is removed. Shipping costs would vary from about $12.50 to locations on the West coast to $25 on the East coast. I have different colors so let me know if your looking for something specific.

I also have a couple columns from the full sized cars, I believe a 1968 Delta and a 1973 Delta. Then there are some tilt/tele columns from Toronados but they're not pulled from the cars yet.

Man, you always have parts available. You should post some pics of all these Oldsmobiles that you have. That way we can be jealous.

Parts for Sale

If you want to drool check out my photobucket site, maybe you'll see something you can't live without

http://s90.photobucket.com/albums/k257/2blu442/

I'm a middle aged single guy, so I finally have the disposable income to play with a hobby. When you paruse the photos take note that nothing is finished, they are all project or parts cars I've been so busy collecting stuff that I've not made the time to put anything together. I recognize that I've collected more than I will use and really need to give myself a little breathing room. I'm not in a hurry to sell the rare stuff because I know how hard it is to come by, and I'm a little hesitant to sell something I only have one of as I may later discover I needed it for one of the project cars. But one bay in the garage probably has 15 steering columns in the rafters, so just how many spares do I need? I do sell parts on ebay and Craigslist but would like to give you guys a chance at some of it before posting it there. I know the frustration of seeing something I want and getting outbid by a buck in the last 3 seconds myself, thus the nickname "evilbay" But I get way more coverage there than any other site and have sold many times more parts there than here. So if you come up needing something and it's not too huge or heavy to ship from Oregon to Oklahoma let me know, I might have it. And if you have something interesting to trade I'm open to that as well. In fact I feel better about trading rare parts for rare parts than selling them outright.

Tilt column shift

I would be interested in a tilt column shift for a 72 Cutlass. The condition of the chrome is more important since the column is black. My email is gdhargrove@verizon.net

Tilt Column

Red, I'll take some photos Sunday afternoon to send your way. So if I understand your message the condition of the chrome arms/levers are more of a concern than the painted portion, correct? John

Your understanding of the condition of the chrome vs paint is correct. Chances are it will need repainting even if it is black. A can or two of Krylon will take care of the paint.

Thanks

Emails sent to redoldsman and 72rocket. I may not have anymore tilt columns that don't need repairs but I still have several floor shift non-tilt columns.

1968 Cutlass Parts

Hi Jim
Yeah, I love digital cameras! You can take all kinds of photos then delete what you don't want. I think I still have a 1968 Cutlass steering column and floor shift speedometer extra but I need to check to be sure. If you would send me a PM with your address I could check the shipping costs too. I've sold some of the cars and parts on my Photobucket site, but added more that are not posted. Your welcome to send me a list of anything else your looking for. John

1969 Delta Steering Column

Hi Jason
I'm sorry, I don't have one from a 1969. I have one that I believe is from a 1973 full sized Olds, I could take some measurements and photos this weekend to see what you think. Also, Kennybill was advertizing parts for the full sized cars a while back. You might send him a pm to see if he has one extra. John
