For Sale: NOS 1963 Backup Lamps

Here is a kit of backup lamps, brackets (4), wiring harness, hardware and instructions for a full-sized 1963 Oldsmobile with a syncro-mesh gearbox. Someone wrote "64" on the box, however lamps from that year do not have a chrome bezel. The lenses are "GUIDE 3 SAE R 63". The condition is very nice in my opinion. Just some light shelf wear to the lenses. More pics upon request.

$98.00 ----- SOLD -----

Free shipping to the lower 48 states.
Payment options include: money order, personal check, Paypal - 'Friends and Family option'.

They are not for 63 cutlass. Could you post a photo of the wire and what's in the envelope?
Thanks

Here you go.
The wire splits off to 2 female connectors.

I am thinking it full size 63 Olds. The 63 cutlass has the backup light in the tail light not separate. Good luck and thanks.

The A-body backup lights mount to the backside of the bumper and do not have the chrome surrounding the lens like the ones in this thread. This photo is a 64 A-body (sedans and wagons used the same bumper in 1964). Note no chrome surround.

Yeah, I saw that. Suffice to say that website isn't a factory parts book. I've got a 64 Vista and P/N 982361 are not the correct backup lights for that car. Again, all 1964 F-85s (coupe, sedan, wagon) use the same back bumper and same backup lights.

Keep in mind the part number is a Delco/Guide number not a GM parts number and it as a complete accessory not a lone BU light. So that may be correct.

I'm not going by the part number. I'm going by the fact that I own a 1964 Vista with backup lights and they don't look like these. On the other hand, these 1963 full size backup lights in the first photo below look EXACTLY like the ones offered for sale in this thread. Note the chrome bezel surrounding the lens on the llights below.

Further, the photo below are what 1964 F-85 backup lights look like. Note there is no chrome bezel. Instead there is a rubber gasket that seats against the inside of the bumper. Note also the diagram showing how they mount to the bumper. Also the different kit number on the box.
