1956 Backup Lamps
Hi guys,
I have some NOS backup/reverse lamps and I'm trying to determine their application. The part number on the box is 983327, but I'm unable to get a hit in a catalog. Are these for Super 88, Starfire, etc?

From the 1957 Oldsmobile Master Chassis Parts Book, page 555:
Group 2.697 Part number 983327 Lamp Package, Back-up (Pair)
1956 HT (means hydramatic transmission)
To answer the op's question: All 56 Olds with automatic transmission.

From the 1957 Oldsmobile Master Chassis Parts Book, page 555:
Group 2.697 Part number 983327 Lamp Package, Back-up (Pair)
1956 HT (means hydramatic transmission)
To answer the op's question: All 56 Olds with automatic transmission.
