Selling an excellent running & driving 455 engine in Staten Island, NY. The motor is still in the car, come see and hear it run. I'm upgrading to an aluminum head performance engine.
The engine is an original 1975 (Olds 98), low compression (8.5), standard bore 455 with about 80,000 miles. I inspected the bearings before installing it in my Cutlass several years ago and everything was fine. I installed a new oil pump, mild cam 204/214@.050" and lifters. The J heads received new valves and springs. This engine runs on unleaded regular gas.

The motor does NOT include the Quadrajet carburetor, exhaust manifolds, starter, accessories, brackets, or pulleys. The motor DOES include the flywheel, balancer, water pump, valve covers, NON-EGR stock intake manifold, and an HEI distributor. This is a drop in and go engine. Asking $1,500. The manifold is a stock 4 barrel cast iron manifold from a 70-72 .455. It takes a 70 & up Q-jet carburetor and choke. NO EGR provision.
