Repro dash woodgrain set

REM brand repro dash woodgrain set.

>Main lower dash (ie the AC/heater and radio part of the lower dash plastic) is metal backed and the metal backing has a 3M peel off/PSA backside. Fits the lower dash plastic/AC/heater/radio, etc openings well (I checked it on a dash plastic)

>Glovebox applique is not metal backed and has a peel off 3M brand adhesive...you can re-use an original metal backer from a glovebox woodgrain. Woodgrain is approx 1/16 narrower (side to side) when laid down on a glovebox door...so there will be a slight gap on one end when installed.

>Upper gauge bezel insert - not metal backed and has 3M peel off adhesive feature. This could be installed onto an original metal backing. A test fit shows that it doesn't fit that great...appears to have shrunk slightly in length (side to side) so it may be useable with some careful trimming and maybe some slight stretching after applying heat.

Overall "look" of the woodgrain isn't a dead-on match to the original IMO...appears slightly darker than the originals and better repros out there. Also..the burls/woodgrain isn't real well defined like the originals/better repros are. This set DOES have the imprinted "texture" like the originals and other repros.

Priced accordingly.

$25 + shipping. Regular check or MO...no paypal.

Thanks

Sounds like it would be good for a driver. Who made it?

As the ad states...REM is the manufacturer...they've been around for many years in the repop part manufacturing biz. Yes, this would be good for a driver, etc. Would not withstand the scrutiny of a "concours" type requirement.

Thanks.
