So, I guess this wouldn't work on a carbureted vehicle, at least not on a cold start. It can't pump the gas for you...

Nope wont work on a carb. Fuel injected only.

It's not designed to work on a carb, but that doesn't mean it can't be made to work on a carb.

Im sure it will turn the motor over, but without pumping the throttle and setting the choke, I dont think the motor will start.

You'd have to either only use it with a warm engine, or devise a servo to press the pedal down. Like I said, you'd have to make it work.
