Rear view mirrors with map light
I have a collection of what I guess are late 60's to early 70's rearview mirrors with a map light. I have 4 that would need to be assembled from the parts I have. The mirrors themselves would need replacement as they are not in good shape or missing. Here are some pictures of what I have, the one with the unit assembled is for illustration only and not for sale. I'm thinking $40 each incl. shipping. Let me know what you think or if you have any specific info on them as these are the first of these I've seen. Thanks

I restore these for customers & also for sale outright. I "think" these particular ones with the stainless front & gray rubber/plastic were used from 1969 through '71 in the A body cars & then in '72 G.M. changed to a black wrinkle finish with black plastic. They also used the same lighted mirrors in the big G.M. cars but the arm or stem was longer than the A body version. The hard parts to get are the gray plastic plugs in the top of the mirror as they were subjected to UV rays the most & often break or are gone missing. Also, often the wire is cut or missing as they are not real quick or easy to remove from a fully assembled car so people often cut the wire. The arm or stem for the lighted mirrors has a hole in them for the wire to run up through & the non lighted mirrors did not have the hole. Arms or stems that have the hole & that are not pitted up are getting really hard to find.
I have many core mirror housings right now & I send the glass pieces off to be resilvered & then reinstall them into the housings. It does not matter how bad the silvering on the mirror is as they almost always look great once resilvered but any scratches or damage to the front of the mirror will be exacerbated once they are resilvered. So I look for the nicest glass pieces to start with.
I see some parts/pieces in the corner of one of your pictures, I would like to see what all is in that pile.
