rare tire iron WHAT!?!

not mine - another goofy asking price, mine must be worth 300 since it came out of a W30 trunk

I don't even think that's the right one.
Since when does GM mark anything with USA?

I still have that correct "O" marked jack handle/lug wrench and I'll let it go to the first lucky person for the measily sum of 200 bucks.
You can purchase the ones out of my Vista and GTO for that too.

I'll take a dozen and hold them for 50 years or so, can be part of my retirement program. I can then sell one when I need to purchase a new car for my wife.

I too think the price is crazy high, but looking at his past sales he's sold a lot of Poncho jack assemblies complete. Most went for around $100. I'm curious where he got so many jacks? I also agree that his identification is wrong on this. But, oh well....

Nor Cal Andy, I have many containers of "original air". All are "date coded" and ready to ship. Let me know what date code you need and I will check my inventory. Will sell outright or trade for W-30 parts or other rare parts. LOL

Boy, if you can get $200 out of yours, I should be able to get $250 out of mine, as I did refinish it last spring, lol!

Remember, I did give you that jack for the Vista that was given to me. You should be able to get a lot out of it, lol!

The pic is of the one from that jack you gave me, and you can't have it back.

Now that they're so valuable you better chain your even more valuable refinished tire iron at car shows or some thief will grab it and shove it down the front of his pants and walk away Sandy.

Try to find a jack in the trunk of one of these cars at a salvage. Many of the older cars I have bought did not have a jack in the trunk. I have talked to several salvage owners I know and they said there were guys that came into their salvage and bought every useable/restoreable jack they could find. One salvage owner found out the guy was buying them from him dirt cheap and restoring them and making a killing on them on Ebay. He ran the guy off and would not sell anything else to him.

Doggone it! I went and refilled my original spare with reproduction air - but I made sure it was Made in the U.S.A. Do you think I may have devalued my spare?

Bull Crap! Now I read that they are reproducing original air! Keep in mind...my air is original not reproduction air. Don't be fooled or duped by unscrupulous vendors. If you cannot tell the difference, contact any NCRS member. Those people would litterly die for original air!

If you drain the air out of the car close enough to the air compressor it will recirculate back into your tire - so would that be NOS air

I love idiot salvage yard owners like that. The guy paid his price and then put his own time into restoring them and then he was rewarded with the profit. If the the salvage owners customers did the same to him he would be out of business!!!

If you read the Q&A in the ad,you will see why it is so valuable-it seems that these cars are no longer in production! I have been saving up to go down to the local Olds dealer and order up a new 70 442-now what am I going to do? Maybe aftermarket? ---bil
