I have a Pertronix distributor, Flame thrower model, Billet aluminum, rev limiter built in. I ran it for 480 miles without issue. We than did a cam swap and changed the gear to bronze and on the dyno we were having ignition breakdown around 4000 rpm, possibly something happened when we installed the new gear, it should be an easy fix, I picked up an MSD due to not wanting to spend the time troubleshooting!
