Parting Out: Running '57 Olds 4 DR HT Super 88
Ready to start parting out a running and driveable (no brakes) '57 Super 88 4 DR HT. Texas car with little rust. Car has FACTORY A/C, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Brakes and Power Seat. PM with a phone number or e-maill address for pictures and I will contact you.

1957 Oldsmobile
Car was bought for the A/C dash and under hood A/C components. The '57 Olds dash is now installed in my '57 Buick Special 2 DR HT and the remainder of the A/C parts went to Finland. Many parts were salvaged and sold to Oldsmobile folks restoring Oldsmobiles. Very little went to the crusher.

Car and most parts long gone. No mechanical parts left.I do have some left over trim/misc parts for sale that were posted on the "Parts for Sale" forum a couple of months ago. Search 53Ragtop posts. Will make some one a heck of a deal on what's left!!!!!
There is a guy on JalopyJournal.com that goes by TDAD that has a '57 Olds 2 DR and 4 DR 98 parts car for sale. I got him hooked up with the parts car. The motor was complete but likely frozen as it had been setting a long time. (There is still a 4 DR 88 setting there but the hood is off and the intake has been off the motor. Suspect it is junk. Owner will not part.) You can contact him on Jalopy Journal. There is also a guy on the Jolopy Journal web site that goes by SouthUrn that is in GA that knows of several 57 Olds.
Also might try Jeff Fall in Wauseon, OH. 419 335 5839 He buys and parts out Oldsmobiles. Tell him Gary from IN gave you his name.
I am looking for a set of power windows/mechinisms from any series 57 and maybe 58 Oldsmobile or small series Buick (Special or Century). MUST be from a two door HT!
Sorry I could not help with the motor but let me know if there is anything else. As stated iin one of the posts related to this add, I am a Buick guy and had the Oldsmobiles for the dashes and factoru A/C stuff. They fit right in and look great in '57 Buick small series.
