Parting out 71 98 coupe
Having a hard time posting pictures again.
Dragged this out of a back yard in Newark.
The condition of the engine is currently unknown I have not had the time to mess with it. It has been sitting quite awhile, the interior is a mess.
455/400.
Grills $100 ea
header center section $150
Lower section $100
Front Bumper solid, $500 bumper sold
Hood good $350
Fenders, doors, quarters, rear bumper shot, bad body work, bad paint. Some good odds and ends.
this is what is left of header panel

No I did not. No time.
I'm gonna have to jury rig some wires and put a distributor & carb on it, all of which I have.
No telling when I'll get to it.
Too many other things to do.

Motor is free spinning this I know personally. I did not compression test it. The car or what is left of it is about 50 min from me, in a guys yard. He wanted the front fenders and hood for a derby car, they weren't in good enough shape for anything else. The chassis is rotted as well. He was supposed to get it running for me. I will give him a call and see how he made out. This was supposedly a running car, this is what I was told when I bought it. It caught fire due to the use of ether. The distributor wires, engine harness damaged, carb was burned, rusty. The car sat 10 years or more like this. I think more than 10 it has not been registered since the late 90's or early 2000's if my memory is correct. I just had no time to mess with it , I had a hundred things going on at once. I sold the good body parts, what little there where, and I let The kid take it, promising to get it running.
I will contact him later today/ early this evening.
I will update you.

Yes my apologies.
I have not heard as of now from Kyle. It is 3:48 pm Saturday. The motor is still in the car, it is at Kyle's house about 50 minutes away. Kyle has been buying the shells or what is left of the cars when I am done with them. This car was in poor shape body wise. I sold what was good . He wanted the front clip minus the header and bumper for a derby car. I gave it to him in exchange for him to get the motor running. As you can see, my mistake. My mom bought and moved into the house across the street from me, and that took up a lot of time, as well as I had other projects going on. I am supposed to have an an answer this weekend. All I can tell you now is that the motor is not seized, it spins freely. The starter and distributor wires where damaged due to them catching fire due to someone trying to start the car with starter fluid years ago.
I am gone 12 hrs a day mon - fri due to work/ commute. I just didn't have time to mess with that car. I tried to make a mutually beneficial deal to get it running, or at least find out if it was any good. It didn't work out in my favor as of yet. I will update everyone as some as I find something out.
and if not by the end this weekend, next week i will go there and do it myself. This Wednesday is my last day of work so I will be able to make time.
I also ***- u-meed you found something by now.
I would like nothing more than to sell some parts now, as I have been hemorrhaging cash on an Olds powered Trans Am, Again my apologies.

As I suspected, but I didn't want to put my foot in my mouth the 455 has very low compression.
it spins, no unusual noise, but highest reading is 90 psi, lowest 60psi. Here's the text from. Kyle
Hey Jim I got to that engine last night we first got 30-40 lbs average in the cylinders just using a battery then we put the charger on and got 92 - 85 - 80– 80 On the driver side now and Passenger side 60-62-60-80 and it didn't sound the healthiest as it's turning over
