SOLD
Somewhere in the shed I have a new GM performance parts chrome 14" air cleaner, with "Oldsmobile" embossed on the lid. Also in the box is a neat "Oldsmobile" logo wingnut, and an ac212 air filter.
I thought of it today when I was at a swap and saw some plain jane and chebby equivalent pieces. The person I bought it from forgot to tell me they had "clearanced" the base with some tin shears. I bought a new base for it, but have no immediate plans to use the cleaner, and thought I would check interest.
No pics as of now, because I have to dig it out.
Maybe it can find a good home where someone can use it soon?
In the pic with the 2 bases, the original "clearanced" one is on the right, and the new one is on the left. Notice the difference in the lip for the carb mount flange. The new base is slightly lighter in weight than the original.

A friend of mine was interested in one of those.I don't know if he found one or not.I have one,but I don't want to sell it just yet. They have been discontinued,as mentioned,so they are not as easy to find now.

Hmmm, i have a different colored box. I covered mine in oil and put it in a bag. I didnt think i would ever install it so i wanted to prevent rust.
