So I bought this axle that came from a 69 Chevelle SS site unseen (never again). I needed to put into my 71 Chevelle. I purchased gears, but wouldn't work, later to find out it is an oldsmobile axle. Stamped "SB", I'm assuming Type "O" . 2.78 posi from what I gathered. I'm not a big Oldsmobile guy, I just know my parts won't fit this axle, and I just purchased a correct 70 chevelle 12 bolt axle. Looking to let this axle go for less than half of what I paid for it. $300. Not too sure on the pricing of this axle.
