Those look like snap-on center caps, which would make them the later 80s era wheels.

Correct-- SS3 wheels with snap-on centers-- Probably issued 1978-87. They have a 4-7/8" lug pattern-- they will fit A bodies and G-bodies-65-87--drum or disc applications

Would you say these are Argent Silver or Olds #15 Silver Metallic (as an example). I just bought and installed a set of black SS #'s for a 1979 Cutlass Supreme Brougham I just bought with a Y-71 paint code. The black is on the bottom, silver on top. I know a Black SS 3 is correct due to it being the bottom color but I can't help but thinking the silver is classier looking.


I'm local in CT if I could perhaps take a look. The silver on my car was re-painted.
