Fresh rebuild. The best of everything. Complete from carb to pan, ready to drop in and fire up. I have $9500 into this build in parts and specialty engine shop work, I would like to get my investment back. This engine is built to better than new specs. Call for info. Orig low time block, but needed to bore 030 over from sitting for a number of years. Orig crank, miked out as new, never cut, very low original running hours. Block was line-honed and studded. Speed Pro forged pistons, Eagle forged H-Beam rods. The entire rotating assy balanced, included new balancer and flex-plate PRW (SFI). Melling stock volume oil pump, only changed the spring out to pink for an add'l 8-10 PSI.I did not want a high volume pump for obvious reasons. Has Cloyes True Roller timing set, Erson Roller cam with Erson Hydraulic roller lifters. Intake and exhaust 0.544 lift, 290 intake and 294 exhaust duration. Short block balanced and assembeled by Johns Precision Engines in Buffalo MN. I had a set of J heads off another 455 that somebody wasted a lot of money on, but really had them opened up. I sent them to Jax Specialty Engines in Medina Mn. Jack called me back, and said "These are some heads!". Moderate porting, polished ports, big valves. I have pics of the porting if you want to see. ARP head bolts. I had them re-done AGAIN, for the roller cam, different retainers for the PEP stainless roller rocker arms. High flow water pump. Edelbrock Air Gap intake, Quick Fuel 850 CFM mech secondary carb. Carter high volume fuel pump. ALL parts are new, except the block and crank. I don't know how to add pics.
