Oil Pressure Sender
Oil Pressure Sender (Sold)
I have an NOS AC Delco oil pressure sender available. It is correct for a late 60's and early 70's Cutlass/442. It is barrel-shaped with notches. I am asking $200 for it.

Sender
The part is sold. For those of you who thought the price was too high, think again!
Sure, the aftermarket senders are always cheaper. This is for people who want all original parts on their cars. I have seen this type of sender sell for over $300 on eBay.

I understand myself. Did you have any luck locating the coil I sent you the # on? Thanks
No they are not. They are cosmetically different even with the same part #. This sending unit he was selling was for a concours restoration where correct is the only way to go.
Glad you could help someone out.
I will never understand the factory restoration thing. I have tried, but can never make any sense of it. There must be some kind of hidden fun in it that I'm missing. Like an excited kid on a scavenger hunt or something.
Welcome aboard.

I don't care how a guy does his car,I appreciate them all.HAPPY OLDSMOBILE'ing.
What does it look like?
I'm curious about the diffences in the appearance of the sender. Do you by any chance have any pictures of it that show how it is different from aftermarket? I'm not a concourse guy, but would like to see what a concourse part of this type looks like. I'd like to compare it to the one that I'm planning to use on my car. Most of the GM parts books will list the sender, but doesn't have a really good description or picture of the part. This request is only being sent as a request for information. Thanks.
