This is a genuine NOS Oldsmobile door thermometer (RPO Y71) in original box. IMO it's in excellent condition.

This model has the white dial, which according to the information provided in one of the templates, is 1973 and up application. However, it is exactly the same thermometer as the black dial one and will mount perfectly on 70-72 models. This package is complete and also includes the NOS Original mounting hardware. The templates are from 1973 but the mounting instructions for 1970 - 1972 are easily referenced in the related Chassis Service Manuals (CSM)

Item is located in Edmonton, AB Canada. I will ship to any location the buyer requests using whatever method the buyer wants - as long as that option is available locally.

I've seen it too. The only differences between mine and that is the dial indicator colors and mine is 1/4 the price. The black dial was only till 1972. After that it went to the one I have. Thanks for posting the comparative link price. Hopefully it will help folks decide on pulling the trigger?
