Hi! Is this unit a correct option for a 1972 cutlass supreme? And it's always a little hard to see the condition of chrome in any photo. Can you comment on the chrome and the plastic lens? Thank you,

This option was first available on the 1972 cars. It was listed for use on any of the Olds models. The early thermometers used a black drum with white numbers. Around the mid 70's they started using a white drum with black numbers. The white drum may have been easier to read. The plastic lens is perfect. The chrome is perfect, except for a very, very, very light rub on the big side of the housing. I doubt you can even see the rub in the pictures. Probably caused my movement in the box.
