Excuse my ignorance but what does "half moon" mean?

 

Scott, if you look at the fins at the bottom of the pic you will see near the tip there is like a semi-circular cut...that's the "half moon", that's what they call them. They were used on many GM products, but the 'vette guys tend to get real excited over nice ones, you need them for NCRS hi-level judging. Take a look on ebay and you will see they get like 3-4 times the $ for USED ones!
