I think it is for 1968. It will fit on 69 70 71 72 but is slightly smaller that what those years came with from the factory

here is verbage from packrats ad on ebay

Selling this NOS G.M. gas, throttle, accelerator pedal. Several years ago I bought a bag of these from a local G.M. dealer. They do not have any stickers or tags on them as they came about 10 to a bag? Or at least they did when I bought them. I think they are correct for a '68 Cutlass but it will work on later years also. These are about 7/8 size of the '70-'72 Cutlass gas pedals. See the worn original from a '70 Cutlass next to the NOS ones for comparison. They attach the same way & unless you compare them side by side you would not notice a difference. Check my other auctions for more cool parts.

I dd not buy this pedal from scott. I purchased it from another classicolds fan
who shall remain nameless / blameless

According to the GM Parts Catalog dated April 1983 they are correct... So somewhere along the line GM made a design change without actually changing the part number (at least from the info I have available)... Or the slight difference may have resulted from a vendor not supplying GM with a pedal manufactured 100% to specification...
