NOS 1968-69 Cutlass 442 REMOTE MIRROR

NOS Oldsmobile remote control outside mirror. I am fairly sure this is for the 1968 and 1969 Cutlass 442 cars. There is no box or any mounting parts. The mirror glass is marked 9-DMI-8. These are the markings under the base: "151963" "403964" "A" "N". I would rate the mirror as a 9.5 out of 10. Some very, very slight defects in the chrome. Some very, very light scratches in the glass. Show quality for sure. $225.00, plus shipping. PM me if interested.

Several people have asked me to confirm this is "A" body. I am not 100% sure. One of the clues that tell me this is "A" body is the remote control "joystick" assembly. The full size cars from these years used a slightly different type, that used a white Teflon slide bearing. I have added a close up picture of the joystick control for my mirror.

In pic one, the base is for an "A" body, and the cable for a '69 is longer to accommodate for the lack of a vent window...cable goes forward to a welded clip on the front of the door to clear the longer window... '68 has a clear cover on the cable.
