Here is a nice original Olds V8 diecast thermostat housing....
>Has "#1" and 386129 cast into it...made by Empire (they made all these style of housings). This has the offset radiator hose hookup which was used sometime before 1970.
>Very clean overall - outside is very nice and inside has minor "erosion" in some areas but not the pitting you see on a lot of these on the inside.
>Outside was beadblasted and sprayed w/black epoxy primer.
>Nice gasket surface - IMO doesn't need to be flat sanded for a good gasket surface.
